1. About these terms
These terms govern the roofing and construction services provided by J Hope Roofing & Construction (David Malone), Glasgow. By engaging our services you agree to these terms.
2. Quotes
All quotes are free and provided in writing. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on the information and site conditions available at the time of survey.
3. Variations
If additional work is required beyond the original quote (for example, hidden damage discovered on removal), we will discuss and agree any variations in writing before proceeding.
4. Payment
Payment is due on completion of the agreed work unless otherwise agreed in writing. Larger projects may require staged payments as detailed in the quote.
5. Warranty
All installation work is backed by the relevant manufacturer's warranty on materials. Workmanship is guaranteed for the period specified in your quote. Warranties do not cover damage caused by extreme weather events, third-party alterations, or lack of maintenance.
6. Access & site conditions
The customer is responsible for providing safe reasonable access to the work area. We will take all reasonable care but cannot accept liability for pre-existing defects.
7. Cancellation
Bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled with reasonable notice. Materials already ordered specifically for your job may be chargeable.
8. Liability
Our liability is limited to the cost of the work carried out. We hold appropriate public liability insurance, details of which are available on request.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Scotland.
